Summer Camp date is set for 2018!
July 22nd through July 28.
We’ve reserved our spot at Roosevelt Scout Reservation for Summer Camp Week 5 (July 22-July 28). Because our troop decided on this week and we paid our deposit before Dec 31, 2017, we’ve saved each scout family $55 per scout over the full summer camp rate. Full rate is $395/week, but we’ll pay $340/week. We are asking each scout family to make a $100 deposit payable to “Troop 179” by February 1, 2018. We will also have a fund raiser in the spring (likely a car wash) that each scout will be able to “earn” a little more of the remaining balance.
Of course it’s very early in the Summer Camp Planning process and we’ll be talking about merit badges and all the other adventures available at Roosevelt in the coming months. However, for the general overview, take a look at the “Camp Preview” and other docs on our OneDrive (all file names begin with “Summer Camp 2018″).
