One of a boy’s last steps to Eagle is to plan, develop, and serve as a leader to others in a service project helpful to his religious institution, school, or community. The project doesn’t have to be original—something that has never been done before—but it certainly could be. The Eagle Scout candidate must, however, accept responsibility for planning, directing, and following through to its successful completion.
