Ski Trip 2018 at Shawnee

Meet at Westmont Methodist Church at 7:30am for roll call, transportation leaves for Shawnee at 7:50am.
We must arrive at the Shawnee Group Sales Station at 10:15.

 
 

Trip Total Cost: $97

Shawnee rental fees $77
Troop transportation, pizza, church youth program hospitality fee $20

Shawnee fee includes rentals (skis or snow board), ski lift tickets, helmets (mandatory) and an optional 11⁄2-hour lesson.  This money will be due on _________ or before and can be brought to a scout meeting or dropped at Mr Stine’s house (217 Fern Ave) so that we can get Express Rental info to Shawnee in time. 
 
 

Information We Need ASAP:

If you plan to go, please email bsa179@outlook.com and cc: mcnitzberg@verizon.net saying whether you are staying for one day or overnight, and supply the following info for each skiier:

  1. Name
  2. Address
  3. Date of Birth
  4. Height and Weight
  5. Whether you will be renting skis or a snowboard
  6. If a snow board, which foot will be out front
  7. Skill level (novice, intermediate, expert)
  8. Shoe size
  9. Lesson or no lesson
  10. Spending the night at the church or coming home Sat night. Transportation final details will be announced once everyone responds.

Pro Tip: A skier that brings a soft-sided cooler with lunch, snacks, and drinks will save a lot of money. The lodge has cold and grill food, but it is on the expensive side.
