The Boy Scouts of America designates the Sunday that falls before February 8 (Scouting Anniversary Day) as Scout Sunday, which is the primary date to recognize the contributions of young people and adults to Scouting.
Scout Sunday is February 4th (10:30AM) and the Pastor Debbe Westmont United Methodist has asked the Troop to attend and lead part of the service. This is a nice opportunity for the Troop to give back to our sponsor.
We’ve been given some parameters to work in which makes it pretty easy to prepare. We just need the Scouts to come in their Field Uniform/Class A by 10:00 so we can get a little organized.
The congregation will provide refreshments afterwards.
