The Jersey Devil Century (metric century) is the club’s premier ride. The ride takes place when temperatures are starting to cool and summer traffic has ebbed. Registration, parking, ride start & finish, are at the Thundergust picnic area of Parvin State Park. The routes wander through the rural country side and a few small towns of Cumberland and Salem counties. The terrain is is mostly flat with just enough climbs to challenge new riders and add interest for the experienced rider.
Mail-in pre-registration is $25.
Start anytime between 8 am to 9:00 am and ride at your own pace with two options of 31 or 62 miles. The 62 mile route has a food/rest stop (with bathrooms) located about half way through the route. An extra water stop is provided about 3/4th’s of the way through each loop. A few stores and deli’s are located along the way. After tackling either route, the rides return to the park for some of the best “century” food of the summer.
