Boy Scout Troop 179 Food Drive Collection

Help collect and put away food for one of our area’s primary food pantries.

On average, 40 families a week are provided food donations from this much-needed service.

Here’s all you need to do:

1. Print 5 or 6 of the attached flyers,
2. Write your Scouts name on the flyer,
3. Staple it to a regular plastic grocery store bag,
4. Give them to some of your neighbors and ask that they fill it with some of the items that are listed right on the flyer,
5. Offer to pick the filled bag up or they can drop it off at your house,
6. Fill one up yourself,
7. Bring them all in on Thurs or next Sunday.

It’s that’s simple and it’s definitely needed.  On November 5 at noon, the Troop will transport the collected groceries over to St. Teresa’s and put them in the pantry.  That should only take about an hour.
