It is an honor to present Troop 179’s most recent Eagle Scout, Mr. Harris R.
Mr. R. has been in Scouting since Cub Scouting, and has been an active member and leader of Troop 179 since 2014.
He has had many leadership roles within the troop. His Eagle service project had him spear-head a mask-making endeavor, mobilizing dozens of folks in our community to sew hundreds of masks for homeless men served by Joseph’s House.
Harris represents Scouting and Troop 179 in school leadership in athletics and academic work while generously giving of his time to serve the needy through countless volunteer hours with his church.
He is the third Eagle in his family, following his brothers Jackson and Tim.
Troop 179 is proud of Eagle Scout Harris, and congratulates him and his family.
