Location: Saddler’s Woods in Haddon Township, meet at the shed on MacArthur Blvd. across from Haddon View Apartments
Waiver: Required if under 18 years old, volunteer must bring waiver form signed by parent or guardian. The waiver will be uploaded to Troop’s Facebook and/or website shortly.
Activity: Clean up debris in the woods caused by recent storms. Volunteers must be comfortable hauling logs, branches, and using hand saws, shovels and rakes and not be bothered by getting wet in the stream. Gloves and rubber boots will be supplied. Spraying self with insect repellent and wearing long pants is advisable. Bring water to drink, if desired. Much of the wood will be used to build habitats for wildlife in the woods.
