The troop traditionally honors veterans this weekend with flag placements on the graves of soldiers at Calvary Cemetery off Route 70. Usually done on Saturday morning- we are now doing this on Friday night at 6 pm to accommodate the weather for the weekend. We should be completed by 8 pm.
- Please wear your uniform, Class A.
- Bring a hammer and a screw driver (to create the holes for the flags)
- Arrive at 6pm for a quick memorial ceremony, and then we begin to place the flags.
- The main entrance on Rt 70 will be closed, but there is an entrance on Rt 38 and on Hampton Rd, a road parallel to Cuthbert Avenue.
- The cemetery’s address for map routes is 2398 Marlton Pike West, Cherry Hill, 08002
Friends and family are all welcome to join.
