COVID-19 Update March 2020

On:

Troop 179 will cancel the following:

  1. Troop Meeting on March 17th.

  2. Cabin Camping Trip on March 21st.

  3. Troop Meeting on March 24th.

 

The Troop is responding to responsible calls for reductions in group meetings and events during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Things to do: while maintaining social isolation, check in on elderly neighbors, making sure they are well and answer needs they may have.

Also, and this is for parents as well as youth of certain ages, please make time to donate blood.

I am calling together a small group of youth leaders this week and seeking further advice for responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Because we have established Microsoft Teams, videoconferencing will make communication easy without personal contact.
