Troop’s first meeting is this Thurs., Sept 13th from 7-8:30PM.
Agenda is:
1) Troop elections – If you’re a First Class, Star or Life, you need a Position of Responsibility (POR) for advancement. PORs include Sr. Patrol Leader, Asst SPL, Patrol Leader (need 2 or 3), Quartermaster, Troop Historian/Librarian and Leave No Trace Coordinator. Come with a short speech to convince the other scouts why they should vote for you.
2) Board of Review – Check your on-line Troop Master advancement report. If you’re having problems getting onto that site, contact Asst Scount Master Dan Woods at dwoods105@gmail.com.
3) Rope Bridge equipment inventory – The Haddon Twp Block Party is Sept 22. T179’s rope bridge is the most popular and impressive activity there. The Troop will start setting up a rope bridge at 8:00AM. The Block Party runs from 12 noon to 6PM and then take-down. We need ALL scouts to sign up to help throughout the day.
