Sat, Sep 17, 2022 8:00 AM Parvin State Park, 701 Almond Rd, Pittsgrove, NJ 08318 The Jersey Devil Century (metric century) is the club’s premier ride. The ride takes place when temperatures are starting to cool and summer traffic has ebbed. Registration, parking, ride start & finish, are at the Thundergust picnic area of Parvin State Park. The routes wander through the rural country side and a few small towns of Cumberland and Salem counties. The terrain is is mostly flat with just enough climbs to challenge new riders and add interest for the experienced rider. Mail-in pre-registration is $25. Start anytime between 8 am to 9:00 am and ride at your own pace with two options of 31 or 62 miles. The 62 mile route has a food/rest stop (with bathrooms) located about half way through the route. An extra water stop is provided about 3/4th’s of the way through each loop. A few stores and deli’s are located along the way. After tackling either route, the rides return to the park for some of the best “century” food of the summer. Continue Reading
